The tour package offered is a 8 days tour of Nepal known as the Golden Triangle Tour where the tourist will be visiting some very famous and iconic places in Nepal.

Firstly, the tour begins with Kathmandu valley where tourist will get the opportunity to visit ancient temples, palaces and heritage sites built centuries ago. Take a stroll in the medieval towns in Nepal which is full of history and culture, when it was under the rule of kings before the country became unified by the great Prithvi Narayan Shah. Enjoy the heritage sites that have remained unchanged over centuries.

Then come to experience the raw nature and wilderness of Nepal with a visit to the Chitwan National Park, which is known to house a wide variety of flora and fauna. The Jungle safari here would be an experience of a lifetime, especially when you see some rare species like the one- horned rhinoceros, spotted deer and even the Royal Bengal tiger. Explore the Elephant breeding center and experience the wildlife of Nepal in the subtropical rainforests.

  • Day 1
    Kathmandu Arrival

    Enjoy the excitement of landing in Kathmandu during a sunny day while having beautiful views of majestic Himalayan mountains spread out below you—a remarkable experience in Nepal.

    After you land at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our representative and chauffeur, who will accompany you to your hotel. Following a comfortable check-in at the hotel, you will get a brief overview of your tour program and activities to come.

  • Day 2
    Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour

    After a nice breakfast at your hotel, start your sightseeing tour around the Kathmandu Valley and head to the UNESCO-listed site of Bhaktapur Durbar Square, which is well-known for its temples, palaces, and traditional architecture in Newari style.

    Then, continue to another holy place – the Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most important Hindu shrines that is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Here, you will be able to observe traditional rituals performed in honor of the God beside the river Bagmati.

    Finish your day on the top of the highest Buddhist stupa in Nepal called Boudhanath Stupa, which creates a very spiritual and harmonious atmosphere thanks to colorful prayer flags surrounding the shrine. The combination of culture, religion, and history will make your stay here unforgettable.

  • Day 3
    Drive to Kurintar, White Water Rafting at Trishuli River & Drive to Chitwan

    Start off your day with an early morning drive to Kurintar (approximately 4 hours). Along the way, savor the amazing scenic sights of rivers, hills, and rural areas.

    Upon reaching your destination, get set for an adventurous day rafting in the Trishuli River with a guide. Enjoy an adventure on water while riding through white water rapids like Twin Rocks, Ladies Delight, and Scout Upset.

    Once you have completed your adventure, proceed with your scenic drive to Chitwan. Get ready to embark on the next adventure of exploring wildlife and nature in the region.

    This is an ideal day for you as it includes adventure as well as travel through amazing scenery.

  • Day 4
    Wildlife Activities in Chitwan

    Experience a fun-filled day in Chitwan National Park, including a variety of activities that include animal-related excitement, nature tours, and cultural events. Participate in elephant safaris led by experts, visit the Elephant Breeding Center or the Gharial Breeding Center based on your location in the lodge, and identify exotic birds on bird watching expeditions. Cruise through peaceful rivers on dug-out canoe tours, walk through nature trails for relaxation, and get engrossed in the local culture through their Tharu dance. Conclude the day with a slideshow on the plants and animals of the national park.

  • Day 5
    Journey to Pokhara & Phewa Lake Boat Trip

    Drive on the famous Prithvi Highway covering around 169 km in 5–6 hours from Chitwan to Pokhara while seeing beautiful scenery including rivers, small villages, agricultural land, and more. See the spectacular view of mountains like the Himalchuli, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and the Machhapuchhre and make your drive memorable as the destination itself. After reaching Pokhara, you can have leisure time at your hotel or take a beautiful boat trip at Phewa Lake.

  • Day 6
    Pokhara Tour and Sunrise at Sarangkot

    Get an early start with a morning trip to Sarangkot, which is about 9 km west from Pokhara. Enjoy the magnificent view of the entire Annapurna range and the Pokhara valley from the altitude of 1,592 meters. After enjoying the beautiful sunrise, come back to your hotel for breakfast and spend some time sightseeing in Pokhara and visit famous sites such as Gupteshwar Cave, Devi’s Falls, Bindhyabasini Temple, and Tibetan Refugee Camp.

  • Day 7
    Return Flight to Kathmandu

    Enjoy breakfast and then depart for the airport, taking a 25-minute flight to Kathmandu with amazing views of the Himalayas and other natural attractions en route. You will have the rest of the day free to wander about the city at your own pace and explore the sights and sounds of Kathmandu.

    Last Day Departure from Kathmandu

    Start your day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel and then proceed to Tribhuvan International Airport for further travels. One of our representatives will make sure that you depart from here without any problems or delays. Leave Nepal with beautiful memories of its unique culture, stunning Himalayas, and amazing experiences, thus ending your tour to the Golden Triangle.

Do's & Don'ts

NHV next heartily welcomes all of our valued guests. Either you are trekking in the mountains or touring the Kathmandu valley we suggest you that you treat the land and its people with care and respect. Below are some tips on how you can keep the environment clean and show appreciation for age-old culture and traditional religious beliefs. Nepal's Culture might be astonishing and surprising for newcomers therefore these tips are sometimes necessary.

  • To show gratitude and respect, use both of your hands rather than one when giving or receiving something, even money. It’s seen as a gesture of respect.
  • Remember not to point with a single finger but use a flat extended hand especially to indicate a sacred object or place.
  • Among Hindus, avoid touching women and holy men. In Nepal, people especially women, do not normally shake hands when they greet one another, but instead press palms together in a prayer-like gesture known as "Namaste" greeting is preferable.
  • Do not eat with your left hand.
  • Never eat beef in front of Hindus and Buddhist because beef is strictly prohibited among both Hindus and Buddhists. Cows are sacred in Nepal.
  • Try not to step over or point your feet at another person, a sacred place or a heart.
  • Remove your shoes when entering a home, temple or monastery and leather items in Hindu temples and avoid smoking and wearing scant dress in religious settings.
  • Remember, some of the temples entrance may be prohibited for non-Hindus.
  • It is better not to touch offerings or persons when they are on way to shrines, especially if you are non-Hindu.
  • Do not offer food to a Nepalese after tasting it, nor eat from a common pot, and avoid touching your lips to a shared drinking vessel.
  • The sight of men holding hands is common, but men and women holding hands, and general acts of affection, are frowned upon. Do not do something that is totally alien to Nepalese culture.
  • Do walk around Stupas clockwise, so that the outer walls are always on your right. If you encounter a stone wall covered with Tibetan inscriptions, do the same: Walk past with the wall on your right (and don't take any of the stones).
  • Do not lose your cool. Raising your voice or shouting is seen as extremely bad manners in Nepal too and will only make any problem worse.
  • Do get a receipt of in authenticity when purchasing an antique replica. Otherwise, you will not be allowed to take it out of the country. And do not buy ivory or fur from endangered species. Your purchases encourage the trade in such illegal goods, and you would not be allowed to bring them back home anyway.
  • Do not give in to children who ask for just one rupee. Although a rupee is a small amount that anyone can spare, successful begging leads young children to drop out of school and take up panhandling as their trade. If you want to help, give to a trustworthy charity or a school.
  • Do not take photographs of locals, holy shrines and temples unless they have clearly given their consent.
